What is Quadvex Convection?

If you’re in the market for an electric radiator, you know that there are a lot of options to choose from. But what sets the NEOS electric radiator apart from the rest? Quadvex Technology makes us stand out from everyone else. But, what actually is it?

The NEOS uses Quadvex Convection to warm your room quickly and effectively, it has 4 points of convection, whereas most radiators normally have 1 - 2 points of convection, let’s explain what this means for you…

Point 1: SERPENTINE CONVECTION

The patented dimpled back panel forces the air to RISE in a snake-like movement. This means the air has to travel a longer distance = in contact with the heat (core) for longer = warmer air.

Benefits

- NO heat loss to the back wall

- All heat created into the room

- PATENTED back wall technology

- 40% better heat transfer rates

Point 2/3: DUAL CONVECTION

By adding a front panel to the flutes, we have doubled the amount of convection.

Benefits

- DOUBLED amount of flutes

- Quicker warm-up rate

- 2x Convection

- 40% better heat transfer rates

Point 4: COOL-WALL TECHNOLOGY

We added small holes at the tip of each dimple to create individual venturis. These venturis draw the latent cold air from the rear wall into the radiator.

Benefits

- Increased warm air

- Maximum use of convection process

- Warmer room not back wall

In conclusion, the NEOS stands out from the rest due to its Quadvex Convection technology, which utilises four points of convection to efficiently and effectively warm your room. The patented serpentine convection on the back panel, dual convection on the front panel, and cool-wall technology all work together to provide maximum heat transfer and a faster warm-up rate, while also preventing heat loss to the back wall and creating a warmer overall room.
